Penta Makes His WWE Debut

Penta during his Monday Night Raw entrance.

The worst kept secret in wrestling was unveiled when Penta made his debut against Chad Gable on the second episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix.  His arrival was highly anticipated and the San Jose crowd was amped for his entrance.

Gable is a damn good worker so I expected a damn good match; that's exactly what we got. I think Penta had a little bit of nerves based on a couple of botches, but nonetheless the two got in rhythm and put on a show. The match served its purpose of introducing one of the more known wrestlers of the last decade to the WWE universe against a viable opponent.

The Lucha Underground and AEW alum proceeded to cut a post-match promo declaring his WWE arrival as the dawn of the Penta era.

The WWE main roster is the most stacked it's been in years (in my opinion, since the ruthless aggression era). Penta definitely has the experience, talent, name value and charisma to have a great run. It's not outlandish to have high expectations for him as the road to wrestlemania unfolds.
